Original oil on panel, 12"x6", of one of my favorite creatures on Earth.
The giraffe has been my totem since I was a child, and I relate to it now for its need to keep watch of the distant, to see what's coming or to be clear on where its going. I know that when I lose sight of the horizon line, I flounder. The giraffe reminds me to create the path I want to walk on.
This painting is unframed but ready to hang. It's painted on a 1.5" deep panel, the sides painted a solid green similar to the background.
